The Prayer of Salvation

For those of you who want to give your life to Christ you need to do 3 things:

1. Admit you are a sinner and ask for forgiveness.

2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

3. Confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and commit to live for Him for the rest of your life.

Pray the Prayer of Salvation ~

'Jesus, you know what is going on in my life. You see deep down inside of my soul. You have seen the tears and heard the cries and seen the sin. You have been there when I have done things that I am ashamed of. Lord, right now, I bring it all to You and I ask for the cleansing of the blood of Jesus Christ.

'Thank you that You love me. I receive Your love. I receive the fact that You died for my sins. At this moment, not only do I take You as my Savior, but I make You the Lord of my life. Come Lord Jesus, live in my heart, and from this moment on I am yours. Thank you, Lord, that You have heard my prayer. Thank you, Lord, that You have come into my heart.

If you have just prayed this prayer your relationship with God has just begun. The Bible says you are a brand new person, hence the term "born-again". Your old person has gone and today is a brand new beginning for you.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking, as Jesus did,
this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with You
forever. Amen

The real price is that you take the old man with all of its sin and dirt and confusion and all of the trouble and tears and you give it to Jesus.
