"My Heart Goes Out"

We know that suffering creates endurance, endurance creates character, and character creates confidence (hope). We're not ashamed to have this confidence (hope), because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. -- Romans 5:3-5 ... that's God-Confidence!

What is God Confidence?

Maybe you have a hard believing that God likes you; maybe you don't even like yourself. But it's true. God not only loves you; He likes you...Take flight and soar with total God-Confidence! -- Donna Partow

I think most of us can say that we hide some kind of insecurity, or some kind of hurt in some area of our life. Insecurities and hurts that have never gone away. We lack self-confidence so we'll buy the latest self-help book, or tune into Oprah or Dr. Phil to find the solution. I tried them all, but they didn't work.

Our true self-worth comes from God healing and changing our hearts. He can turn the ashes of your life into joy. He did for me. He will give you God-confidence, which is different that self-confidence. When we have self-confidence, we believe we have the power to do almost anything. And we go it alone.

When we gain God-confidence, we believe we can do anything that God gives us to do. There's a big difference. Most women won't learn about God-confidence because they won't turn to God and seek His advice and counsel.

When you have God in your life then you have what it takes to make it happen, make those critical life changes. Man can't fix a lot of our problems, but if we choose to put our confidence in God, we know the solution will be the right solution.

Self-confidence looks inward ~ God-confidence looks upward! -- Donna Partow

Why should we trust God? Because God is "omniscient" which means He is all-knowing. He has all the knowledge - of the past, present and future. Nothing is outside the knowledge of God. Whenever God expresses Himself to you, you have to be confident that His directions are always right.

God is also "omnipotent" which means He is all-powerful. If He ever asks you to do something, He Himself will enable you to do it. Think about that. God is all-powerful and He can enable you to do His will! There is nothing to fear!

To Know God's love is to know the deep kind of abiding joy that you want to splash all over others -- Barbara Johnson
